Nicholas Mirra is a Tacoma-born writer living in Seattle after an extended residency in Philly.

His humor writing has appeared in The Onion, The Needling, and Funny Or Die.

His less-funny writing has appeared in Philadelphia City Paper and the best-named trade publication of the contracting industry, Demolition Magazine.

His fiction has been published by The Letter Review (2026) and shortlisted for the Spring 2025 Short Story Contest by Narrative Magazine.

He is currently working on his first novel and is open to representation.
